USB (Universal Serial Bus) is gradually developing into a standard transmission protocol.   In the past ten years or so, the application of integrated communication technology in various vehicles has developed rapidly.    For USB interface devices that are gradually being used in cars, their connectors and cables are often not designed according to the harsh environment of the car. Therefore, the simplest circuit design may not be the most successful design. Loosely laid cables and adapter wires on the equipment, especially poorly shielded wiring connections, will significantly worsen the electromagnetic conditions inside the vehicle.

Although many electronic products such as mobile phones and computers have to be replaced every two or three years, it is estimated that the USB interface for vehicles must be able to be plugged in 20,000 times during the service life of about 20 years.   In the next few years, the interface will be miniaturized, so it is only a matter of time to use a small or micro USB interface.
